  • Polishing your wood furniture with an oil based product produces a lustrous shine that is healthy to the wood finish. It will not leave a residue build up as does a wax polish.
  • Darkened discoloration around the borders of your carpet is caused by your homes heating and cooling filtration system.  Using your vacuums crevice tool in these areas once a month helps to reduce the prolonged staining in your carpets fibers.
  • Rinsing the exterior siding of your home, once a month in warm weather, with your garden hose helps to remove the dirt that attracts mold and mildew.
  • Detergent based upholstery cleaners that are spayed on and vacuumed off leave a residue that attracts dirt.
  • Pet urine stains should be thoroughly soaked with a  10:1 solution of  warm water to vinegar and immediately vacuumed with a wet/dry vacuum.

  • A simple recipe for glass cleaner that rivals commercial products:

    1 cup rubbing alcohol

    1 cup water

    1 tbsp. white vinegar

    It is streak free and leaves no residue or odor.
